About the Author:
Dr Tay Eng Hseon is a gynaecologist specialising in women’s cancer treatment and has been a medical doctor since 1987.
Born in 1963, he believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 15 in 1978, and was baptised by immersion on 19 August 1979. Married since 1990, Dr Tay has two adult children and three grandchildren.
He has worshipped God at Orchard Road Presbyterian Church (1978), Bethel Baptist Mission (1979–1988), Calvary Pandan Bible Presbyterian Church (1988–1996), and Glory Presbyterian Church (1997 to present).
Though he has no formal training in theology, his theological and doctrinal understanding has been shaped by repeated readings of the Bible, listening to topical sermons (both local and international), and engaging in intensive and in-depth topical research.
He recently contributed to the I Asked God series compiled by Herman Chang, which includes I Asked God 5 Questions, I Asked God Questions About Salvation, and other titles covering topics on Creation & Life, Church & the Bible, God, Faith, and Election.
