Cru Media Ministry carries three Chinese bible versions. The Chinese Union Version (CUV), first published in 1919, and the text is now in the public domain; the Chinese Union Version with New Punctuation (CUNP), an updated version of the CUV published in 1988 by the Hong Kong Bible Society; and the Contemporary Chinese Bible (CCB), also known as the Chinese Living Bible which was translated by the International Bible Society, Colorado Springs, and published in 2010.

This Chinese bible version was designed for a general audience with a seventh grade (US) education or above. These Chinese bible versions are suitable for local reading, and also for those who seek to understand God's word in Chinese, should it be their mother tongue.
